Visitors so far.

Welcome to the Portesham Primary School website. We are a small village school nestled in a beautiful part of the Dorset countryside. We love our school and we want to share as much of it as possible with you through our website. We are a very successful school. Our success comes from high expectations, dedication to constantly improve and most of all celebrating the individual.

If you are a part of the school community we hope you enjoy the regular updates and if there’s something missing that you would like to see please let us know, we’re always keen to add to the website. If you’re using the website to find out about us please feel free to pop in and see us for real. We look forward to meeting you.

Kind Regards

Chris Brown, Acting Headteacher and the staff team

Dear Parents/Carers,

You will have seen much in the press about Academisation.  We, as governors, have been to all the meetings locally and as soon as a decision is reached on the best way forward for our school we will inform you.  We expect more information to become available in September and we'll be sharing this with you at the earliest opportunity.
